The Burrow is a hooded bed, which means the sleeping space is covered rather than open. Cats and small dogs burrow by instinct, and a covered bed gives them somewhere enclosed to do it, instead of the gap behind the couch or a pile of clean laundry.

Underneath the hood the base is orthopedic, holding the spine in line rather than letting the body sag into the middle. A raised rim runs around the edge to support the head and neck, which is the position most cats settle into anyway.

The hood folds back so the same bed works as a flat open bed through warmer months. The lining is fleece under a long haired plush outer, the whole thing goes into the washing machine and the dryer, and an anti slip base stops it sliding across hard floors when a pet climbs in.
