The Forager hides treats inside layers of fabric, so a dog has to nose and dig through the ball to find them. Sniffing food out is slow, focused work, which is why a few minutes on a snuffle toy tires a dog in a way that a thrown ball does not.

A rope runs through the center of the ball, which turns the same toy into a tug and throw toy. That gives it two jobs: quiet solo problem solving when a dog is on its own, and active back and forth play with a person.

At 7.87 inches across it is big enough to hold a decent scatter of treats and easy for a dog to pin with a paw while working at it.
